Privacy Policy

In short: this website asks you for nothing and collects nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no newsletter, no cookies and no analytics. To book an appointment you phone us — that is the whole of it.
Who we are
Magenta Spa is a dog and cat grooming salon operated by Hélène Cadieux (HELENE CADIEUX ENR.) at 3000 boul. des Laurentides, Vimont, Laval, Quebec H7K 3G5. Telephone 450-933-4666.
What this site does not do
We would rather say this plainly than bury it in a paragraph:
- The site has no forms — nothing to fill in, nothing to submit.
- It creates no accounts and asks for no passwords.
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising profiles.
- We sell and rent nothing to anyone. We have nothing to sell.
The only two exceptions, stated honestly
1. Fonts. The page uses a typeface hosted by Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser fetches it from Google's servers, which discloses your IP address to Google. We neither receive nor keep that information. See Google's privacy policy.
2. Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, date and time, page requested — for security and operations. This is how every website works. We do not review those logs to identify anyone.
Links to social media
The footer links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. They are plain links: nothing is embedded in the page and no data is sent until you click one. If you do click, the privacy policy of that site applies, not ours.
When you telephone us
Appointments are made by phone. We write down what we need in order to serve you: your name, a phone number, your pet's name and breed, and the grooming requested. We keep that for as long as we need it to look after your pet's record and to meet our accounting and tax obligations. We use it for nothing else and give it to no one, unless the law requires it.
Your rights
Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, and the federal PIPEDA, give you the right to:
- know what information we hold about you;
- receive a copy of it;
- have anything inaccurate corrected;
- ask for information to be removed where the law allows;
- withdraw your consent.
To exercise any of these, phone 450-933-4666 or come into the salon. We respond within 30 days.

Children
This site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no information about them.
Changes
If we ever add a form, online booking or an analytics tool, this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
